I learned a valuable truth playing baseball as a youngster in my hometown of Tampa...the right kind of practice makes the right kind of improvement. 

Practice alone does not always guarantee a great impact.  After all, we could be using the wrong techniques, have misinformation or be slack in our time practicing.  When this happens, we won;t be prepared for when it really matters.
